My Beloved, What Are You ??

In the churning frenzied waters of living
With tidal waves gone insane
On the flimsy paperboat,called life,
Your strong brown arms spell safety & succour...
For you are the protector, saviour, father figure.
When coal black eyes, red black live coals
Blaze with a passion, bent on possession
In unconditional surrender
with open arms
I await total subjugation
Raising no defence against the welcome assault
For then, you are the lover
Drowning me in love...
Leading the way
to agonizing ecstasies and silent raptures.
When you sleep, with your head upon my breast
With a beautific smile on your lips
A melting, aching tenderness suffuses me
I circle your unconscious innocence in my arms
As fiercely protective as a tigress with cubs
For then, you are my child.
When with awe, reverence and utter devotion
In worship, you clasp my unworthy feet
And emotion, overpowered, you cover them
With tears and kisses
To exalt me to the pedestal of a Goddess
In my eyes, it's God that you become.
Father, Son, Lover or God
My Beloved, what are you?
To encompass in totality, my femininity
You are the complete, the perfect male
Manhood, in it's entirety
The desired mate
My soul-mate
Who made my sojourn on this Earth
Worthwhile...
